I am in class. I see the teacher.

I say hello. The teacher speaks.

Él muestra el alfabeto. Yo miro.

He shows the alphabet. I look.

Leo A, B, C. Leo despacio.

I read A, B, C. I read slowly.

El profesor habla de las letras. Yo repito.

The teacher talks about the letters. I repeat.

Él dice yo. Él dice tú.

He says I. He says you.

Él dice él. Él dice ella.

He says he. He says she.

Él dice nosotros. Él dice ustedes.

He says we. He says you.

Él dice ellos. Él dice ellas.

He says they. He says they.

Ahora él habla de un verbo. El verbo es hablar.

Now he talks about a verb. The verb is to speak.

Digo yo hablo francés. El profesor escucha.

I say I speak French. The teacher listens.

Tú hablas francés. Yo repito.

You speak French. I repeat.

Nosotros hablamos francés. Yo hablo despacio.

We speak French. I speak slowly.
