Доктор Алексей и новый пациент

Алексей работал врачом в районной больнице уже восемь лет и хорошо знал свой кабинет и своих коллег.

Alexey had been working as a doctor in a district hospital for eight years and knew his office and his colleagues very well.

Каждое утро он приходил на работу раньше других чтобы спокойно подготовиться к приему пациентов.

Every morning he came to work earlier than the others to calmly prepare for seeing patients.

Он проверял расписание смотрел истории болезней и настраивался на длинный рабочий день.

He checked the schedule looked through medical records and prepared himself for a long working day.

Алексей любил свою профессию хотя она часто была сложной и требовала много внимания и терпения.

Alexey loved his profession although it was often difficult and required a lot of attention and patience.

В этот день в расписании был новый пациент которого Алексей раньше никогда не видел.

On that day there was a new patient in the schedule whom Alexey had never seen before.

Мужчину звали Игорь ему было сорок два года и он работал водителем грузовика.

The man’s name was Igor he was forty two years old and he worked as a truck driver.

Когда Игорь вошел в кабинет он выглядел уставшим и немного нервным.

When Igor entered the office he looked tired and a little nervous.

Алексей заметил что пациент держится за грудь и часто делает глубокие вдохи.

Alexey noticed that the patient was holding his chest and often taking deep breaths.

Доктор спокойно поздоровался и предложил пациенту сесть.

The doctor calmly greeted him and invited the patient to sit down.

Он говорил медленно и уверенно чтобы человек чувствовал себя спокойнее.

He spoke slowly and confidently so that the person would feel calmer.

Игорь рассказал что последние две недели чувствует боль в груди и сильную усталость на работе.

Igor said that for the last two weeks he had been feeling chest pain and strong fatigue at work.

Он сказал что иногда ему трудно дышать особенно после долгого дня за рулем.

He said that sometimes it was hard for him to breathe especially after a long day behind the wheel.

Алексей внимательно слушал и не перебивал потому что каждая деталь была важна.

Alexey listened carefully and did not interrupt because every detail was important.

Он задал несколько простых вопросов о работе режиме сна и уровне стресса.

He asked several simple questions about work sleep routine and stress level.

Пациент признался что почти не отдыхает и часто работает без выходных.

The patient admitted that he almost never rested and often worked without days off.

После разговора Алексей начал осмотр и проверил давление дыхание и сердечный ритм.

After the conversation Alexey started the examination and checked blood pressure breathing and heart rhythm.

Он заметил что давление немного выше нормы но сердце работает ровно.

He noticed that the blood pressure was slightly above normal but the heart was working steadily.

Алексей объяснил пациенту что сейчас нужно сделать дополнительные анализы чтобы понять причину боли.

Alexey explained to the patient that additional tests were needed to understand the cause of the pain.

Он отправил Игоря на рентген и анализ крови и попросил подождать результаты.

He sent Igor for an X ray and a blood test and asked him to wait for the results.

Пока пациент был на обследовании Алексей заполнил медицинскую карту и подумал о возможных диагнозах.

While the patient was undergoing the examination Alexey filled in the medical chart and thought about possible diagnoses.

Он понимал что боль в груди часто пугает людей даже если причина не опасная.

He understood that chest pain often scares people even when the cause is not dangerous.

Через некоторое время Игорь вернулся в кабинет с результатами.

After some time Igor returned to the office with the results.

Алексей внимательно изучил документы и спокойно объяснил ситуацию.

Alexey carefully studied the documents and calmly explained the situation.

Он сказал что серьезных проблем с сердцем нет но есть мышечное напряжение и сильное переутомление.

He said that there were no serious heart problems but there was muscle tension and severe overwork.

Доктор отметил что длительная работа без отдыха может вызывать такие симптомы.

The doctor noted that long work without rest can cause such symptoms.

Игорь выглядел удивленным потому что не ожидал услышать такую причину.

Igor looked surprised because he did not expect to hear such a reason.

Алексей рассказал что организму нужен отдых так же как машине нужен сервис.

Alexey said that the body needs rest just like a car needs service.

Он посоветовал пациенту сократить рабочие часы хотя бы на время лечения.

At the end of the appointment Alexey said that a doctor not only treats illnesses but also helps people change their lifestyle.

Пациент поблагодарил доктора и сказал что впервые почувствовал что его действительно услышали.

The patient thanked the doctor and said that for the first time he felt that he was truly heard.

Когда Игорь ушел Алексей сделал заметку в карте и подготовился к следующему приему.

When Igor left Alexey made a note in the chart and prepared for the next appointment.

Он чувствовал усталость но также чувствовал смысл своей работы.

He felt tired but also felt the meaning of his work.

Для него профессия врача была не просто работой а постоянным диалогом с людьми.

For him the profession of a doctor was not just a job but a constant dialogue with people.

В этот день Алексей еще раз понял что иногда самое важное лекарство это внимание и честный разговор.

On that day Alexey once again understood that sometimes the most important medicine is attention and an honest conversation.
