Eye strain and a visit to the ophthalmologist

Over the past months I noticed that my eyes felt tired almost every evening

The doctor asked about my daily screen time work conditions and lighting

He examined my eyes and performed a standard vision test

After the examination he explained that I was experiencing digital eye strain

He said that prolonged screen use without breaks was the main cause

The doctor recommended following the twenty twenty twenty rule during work

He also advised using artificial tears to reduce dryness

In addition he suggested adjusting screen brightness and improving desk lighting

En plus il a suggéré d’ajuster la luminosité de l’écran et d’améliorer l’éclairage du bureau

I followed his recommendations and changed my daily routine

After a few weeks my eyes felt less tired and more comfortable

Après quelques semaines mes yeux se sentaient moins fatigués et plus confortables

The headaches became rare and my concentration improved

Les maux de tête sont devenus rares et ma concentration s’est améliorée

This experience showed me how important it is to protect my eyesight

Now I take regular breaks and pay more attention to eye health
