📌 Small nuance:
📌 Pequeño matiz:
I like reading – sounds more general, more natural in everyday conversation. It emphasizes the activity itself.
«Me gusta la lectura» — suena más general y natural en una conversación diaria. Enfatiza la actividad en sí.
→ I like reading books in the evening.
→ Me gusta leer libros por la noche.
I like to read – sometimes sounds a little more specific or habitual. It can also suggest a choice or routine.

→ I like to read before bed. (= that’s what I choose to do at that time)
