Hansel and Gretel

The story begins when the brother and sister Hansel and Gretel live with their father and stepmother in a very poor family. There is almost no food in the house, and the adults think all the time about how to survive.

История начинается с того, что брат и сестра Гензель и Гретель живут с отцом и мачехой в очень бедной семье. В доме почти нет еды, и взрослые постоянно думают, как выжить.

The stepmother suggests a cruel plan and wants to leave the children in the forest. The father does not agree, but he is weak and afraid to argue.

Мачеха предлагает страшный план и хочет оставить детей в лесу. Отец не согласен, но он слаб и боится спорить.

Hansel hears the adults talking by chance and decides to protect his sister. At night he collects small white stones and hides them.

Гензель случайно слышит разговор взрослых и решает защитить сестру. Ночью он собирает белые камешки и прячет их.

When the children are taken into the forest and left alone, Hansel drops the stones along the way. Because of this, the children find their way back home.

Когда детей уводят в лес и оставляют одних, Гензель бросает камешки по дороге. Благодаря этому дети находят путь домой.

The stepmother becomes angry and decides to try again. This time Hansel cannot take stones and uses bread crumbs.

Мачеха сердится и решает попробовать снова. В этот раз Гензель не может взять камни и использует хлебные крошки.

The birds eat the crumbs, and Hansel and Gretel get lost in the forest. They walk for a long time and feel hungry and afraid.

Птицы съедают крошки, и Гензель с Гретель теряются в лесу. Они долго идут, чувствуют голод и страх.

Suddenly, the children see a strange house made of sweets and bread. They begin to eat the walls because they are very hungry.

Вдруг дети видят странный дом, сделанный из сладостей и хлеба. Они начинают есть его стены, потому что очень голодны.

Inside the house lives a wicked witch who catches the children. She wants to make Hansel fat and eat him.

В доме живёт злая ведьма, которая ловит детей. Она хочет откормить Гензеля и съесть его.

The witch locks Hansel in a cage and forces Gretel to work hard. Gretel stays calm and thinks about how to escape.

Ведьма сажает Гензеля в клетку, а Гретель заставляет тяжело работать. Гретель старается быть спокойной и думает, как спастись.

At one moment, Gretel tricks the witch and pushes her into the hot oven. The witch dies, and the children become free.

В один момент Гретель обманывает ведьму и толкает её в горячую печь. Ведьма погибает, и дети становятся свободны.

Hansel and Gretel find treasures in the house and return home to their father. Now they live peacefully and are no longer afraid of hunger.

Гензель и Гретель находят в доме сокровища и возвращаются домой к отцу. Теперь они живут спокойно и больше не боятся голода.
