Sahara Desert

The Sahara Desert is in North Africa and covers a large area. It goes through several countries. It is the largest hot desert in the world.

There is almost no rain in the Sahara, so the climate is very dry. During the day the temperature is often high. At night it can be cold.

In the desert there is sand, stones, and rocky areas. In many places there are large sand dunes. The wind constantly changes their shape.
