“¿QUÉ HORA ES?”
“WHAT TIME IS IT?”
Para preguntar la hora, podemos utilizar la siguiente pregunta: ¿Qué hora es?
To ask the time, we can use the following question: “What time is it?”
Recordaros que la h en la palabra “hora” no se lee, que la palabra interrogativa “qué” lleva tilde y que tenemos que poner dos signos de interrogación.
Remember that the letter “h” in the word “hora” is silent, that the question word “qué” has an accent mark, and that we must put two question marks in Spanish.
¿Qué hora es? Es la una. (13:00, 01:00)
What time is it? — It’s one o’clock. (13:00, 01:00)
¿Qué hora es? Es la una y media. (13:30, 01:30)
What time is it? — It’s half past one. (13:30, 01:30)
¿Qué hora es? Son las doce. (12:00, 00:00)
What time is it? — It’s twelve o’clock. (12:00, 00:00)
¿Qué hora es? Son las tres y cuarto. (15:15, 03:15)
What time is it? — It’s a quarter past three. (15:15, 03:15)
¿Qué hora es? Son las cinco menos cuarto. (16:45, 04:45)
What time is it? — It’s a quarter to five. (16:45, 04:45)
¿Qué hora es? Son las seis y veinte. (18:20, 06:20)
What time is it? — It’s twenty past six. (18:20, 06:20)
¿Qué hora es? Son las ocho menos veinte. (19:40, 07:40)
What time is it? — It’s twenty to eight. (19:40, 07:40)
Y ahora unos comentarios:

“¿A QUÉ HORA?”
“AT WHAT TIME?”
