Let’s read two texts using these tenses:
This summer, I spent my holidays at the beach. I traveled with my family and we stayed in a beautiful hotel. Every morning, we swam in the sea and built sandcastles. One day, we went on a boat trip and saw dolphins. On the last evening, we had dinner in a seaside restaurant and I tasted delicious seafood. It was an unforgettable vacation!
When I was young, every summer I spent my holidays at my grandparents' house in the countryside. I got up early in the morning and played in the garden. My cousins often came, and we explored the surrounding fields and forests. In the evening, my grandmother cooked delicious meals, and we all ate together on the terrace. We told stories and watched the stars before going to bed. Those moments were full of joy and happiness.
