Today we will learn four very useful words in English:

Hoy vamos a aprender cuatro palabras muy útiles:

this, that, these, and those

this, that, these y those

They help us talk about things near and far, and about one or many.

Nos ayudan a hablar de cosas cercanas o lejanas, y de una o varias.

What do these words mean?

¿Qué significan estas palabras?

this — singular, near (close)

this — singular, cerca

➡ This is a book. (near me)

➡ Esto es un libro. (cerca de mí)

that — singular, far (not close)

that — singular, lejos

➡ That is a chair. (over there)

➡ Eso es una silla. (allá)

these — plural, near (close)

these — plural, cerca

➡ These are my keys. (in my hand)

➡ Estos son mis llaves. (en mi mano)

those — plural, far (not close)

those — plural, lejos

➡ Those are apples. (on the table)

➡ Esos son manzanas. (en la mesa)

Easy Structure
