They help us talk about things near and far, and about one or many.

Они помогают нам говорить о предметах, которые находятся близко или далеко, а также об одном или нескольких.

What do these words mean?

this — singular, near (close)

this — единственное число, близко

➡ This is a book. (near me)

➡ Это книга. (рядом со мной)

that — singular, far (not close)

that — единственное число, далеко

➡ That is a chair. (over there)

➡ То стул. (вот там)

these — plural, near (close)

these — множественное число, близко

➡ These are my keys. (in my hand)

➡ Это мои ключи. (в моей руке)

those — plural, far (not close)

those — множественное число, далеко

➡ Those are apples. (on the table)

➡ То яблоки. (на столе)

Easy Structure
