Between the sky and the plate

In the morning, the weather changes quickly. First it is nice, then it becomes cloudy. The sky is not gray yet, but the sun slowly disappears.

Ce matin, le temps change vite. Il fait beau, puis il fait nuageux. Le ciel n’est pas encore gris, mais le soleil disparaît doucement.

I go out into the garden. The trees move a little because there is wind. The flowers are still wet from yesterday’s rain.

Je sors dans le jardin. Les arbres bougent un peu, car il y a du vent. Les fleurs sont encore humides à cause de la pluie d’hier.

In the distance, I see the forest and the fields. Nature feels calm. It is not too hot and not too cold.

Au loin, je vois la forêt et les champs. La nature est calme. Il ne fait ni trop chaud ni trop froid.

Before noon, I go to the market. It is not raining and the air is fresh. I like walking in this kind of weather.

Avant midi, je vais au marché. Il ne pleut pas et l’air est frais. J’aime marcher quand le temps est comme ça.

I choose simple vegetables. I take carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, and a cucumber. Everything is fresh.

Je choisis des légumes simples. Je prends des carottes, des tomates, des pommes de terre et un concombre. Tout est frais.

For fruit, I take apples, bananas, and oranges. The strawberries look nice, but I do not need them today.

Pour les fruits, je prends des pommes, des bananes et des oranges. Les fraises sont belles, mais je n’en ai pas besoin aujourd’hui.

When I come back home, the sky gets darker. There is wind and it starts to rain softly.

En rentrant, le ciel devient plus sombre. Il y a du vent et il commence à pleuvoir doucement.

At home, I cook. I cut the onion and the garlic. I put the vegetables in the pot and prepare the meal.

À la maison, je cuisine. Je coupe l’oignon et l’ail. Je mets les légumes dans la casserole et je prépare le repas.

At the end, I eat an apple and drink orange juice. Outside, the rain continues.

Pour finir, je mange une pomme et je bois un jus d’orange. Dehors, la pluie continue.

Evening comes. It gets cooler. I look at the sky and feel good.

Le soir arrive. Il fait plus frais. Je regarde le ciel et je me sens bien.
